Questions about 'Best Wishes' if that is it's name...

Ok Pokemon BnW anime bugs me for several reasons that are probably pointless (and I will have to hand-wave aside as I get more hooked... aw, who'm I kidding - typing this is reminding me that I'm hooked already and I've only seen 2 full eps so far).
I hate how in the anime they always make battles that are impossible in the game and the first episode is no exception.
Even though Ash's Pikachu had no electric ability (talk about plot-driven inconvenience which may mean he can stage a comeback and wipe the floor with his latest snotty opponent (yes PLEASE KICK THAT KID'S ahem...) at the time, it should have knocked out that damn Snivy with it's Quck Attack. It was a direct hit and the Snivy should have been level 1 or at most, level 5. It was the kid's starter that he just got like a minute beforehand.
Also... how does a starter know Leaf TORNADO????? IMPOSSIBLE unless Professor Juniper is using hacked Pokemon as starters or has been breeding them. Which is UNLIKELY!

And on top of all that, why is Iris not at her gym?
Why is she some kind of jungle girl? Weird!
Pretty sure this will be explained later.

Also... I saw another ep and what happened to Nurse Joy? Sure, she's gorgeous but TOO DIFFERENT! If you're going to do that, then don't have Nurse Joy in Unova at all!!!! Do they have Officer Jenny? Bet they changed her too much too.

Saw that the new lineup is Cilan, Iris and Ash.
Why did Cilan leave his gym... the whole point of the Striaton gym is that they have three elements to fight any of the three starters, but Cilan is taking his Pansage so they just lost one third of their diversity...
Btw I chose Oshawott in my game so I ended up fighting Cilan which was EASYYYY!!!! Wahooo...

Why is Ash by himself in Unova? From Kanto, Johto etc is not so far, you can at least get a ferry back home, but this trip needed a plane! If he's in trouble it could be much more serious because he can't go home easily.
Not impressed with his mother or Professor Oak.
Also he just out and out declares what he wants to do and they just give him the ok straight up... his mother even says that she knows him by now... and I'm like, 'That is not what parents say to their kids... when they are going away ALONE into a foreign country!'

How old IS Ash by now anyway? He seems to have stopped aging a while ago.
Also he still keeps trying to catch Pokemon without weakening them first. He already knows how to battle and capture them ... it's like he forgets everything he learned over the last few YEARS of experience! Such a moron. The anime really wrecks it with little things like that.
Only explanation I can think of is that they assume new fans are watching who haven't been with the series since episode 1 of the Johto league.
But then he is actually quite an experienced traveller and trainer by now.
Fine, hand-wave that aside... reluctantly! Let's say it's a reset for a new gen of viewers.

Which brings me to Team Rocket... wondering how that's going to work out...
I think the anime should have done more with Team Rocket. They haven't been treated well at all because they would get in the way of the real plot lines (which only run on occasion, usual theme is 'monster of the day' with a twist, i.e. in most shows, enemy or monster of the day/week is bad, but in Pokemon, the 'monster' is usually good, sorry sorry talking too much, I just like that idea), but Team Rocket need their own plot and more development.
I liked how Jessie entered Contests in the Diamond and Pearl series, it was actually more interesting than the usual stuff. I heard those three are finally taking a level in badass for this series, so looking forward to that at least.

All in all, pretty much love it so far because of the use of game music, and I do LOVE Iris's design. And her Axew is cute. Btw it sucks that we here in NZ couldn't participate in the giveaway events which meant we could get one of the three trainer's Pokemon from the anime.
I guess it's ok but I do get annoyed when we get left out.
Just feel like it's MEAN!

Ok ok I know I complain but the truth is, I loved Black and I would maybe buy White in the future sometime... so I can play it again.
I don't like to save over my games.
Anyway I guess this rant reminded me that I am an otaku... but I'm not a bad person I guess...
^_^
I found out recently that in terms of pure power, I lose against real trainers but I will just confine myself to fighting NPCs in the game and soothe my wounded ego...
Sucks when your friends beat you... T.T
One day... ONE DAY!!!! ...not sure what to add to the end of that sentence...
Maybe I will beat him one day.
I beat 5 out of 6... or was it only 4? At least 4. So if it had been 2 on 2... maybe I would've had a chance... nah, even then he would've won.
Ah well.
Keep training and I really should have equipped them with berries or whatever...
I really want to beat him, just once, so I know that it';s not impossible.
I know I know, I'm sad, DON'T PITY MEEEE!!!!!
:D
One day...
But you know... I only fought him. Nobody else yet.
Maybe I could beat another person.
I might try and battle online sometime, see if I can beat somebody.
It's be nice to have a real victory under my belt.

Btw I wish they sold gym badge replicas in my country.
I could buy them all. I have beaten every gym there is now... all generations!
But I need to beat the Emerald game again when I get it.
I think it would be awesome if, when you wanted to buy the badges, you had to show the retailer your game/s and if they saw that you really had clocked it/them, only then could you buy the badges. It would be SO AWESOME to have all the badges on my shirt. I'd have all of them lined up so cute and shiny!
:)
