... I hate it when I'm right, sometimes.

"Get Shiny Dialga!

Head to GameStop stores to get the Steel/Dragon-type Pokémon Dialga, the first of three Legendary Pokémon you can get via special distribution! This Lv. 100 Dialga is a rare Shiny Pokémon, meaning it is a different color than the Dialga you’d typically encounter in your game. Dialga also knows several powerful Dragon-type moves, including its signature move Roar of Time, as well as Dragon Pulse and Draco Meteor.

Dialga will be available for your Pokémon Black VersionPokémon White VersionPokémon Black Version 2, or Pokémon White Version 2 game through September 8th. Take your game in to the store, along with your system from the Nintendo DS or Nintendo 3DS family to receive Dialga.

Dialga is the first of three Shiny Legendary Pokémon distributions at coming to GameStop stores. Starting on September 9th, 2013, return to GameStop to get the Palkia. Then, starting on September 30th, 2013, make another trip to GameStop to get the Giratina!

Remember that when you visit GameStop stores beginning on August 19th, you’ll be able to preorder your copy of Pokémon X or Pokémon Ywhile you’re there! Learn more about these upcoming games at Pokemon.com/XY!"
So that's what Nintendo's Pokemon official website says. Note the LACK OF SPECIFICS. 'You'll be be able to pre-order', not, 'you will HAVE TO pre-order, if you want the three shiny legends'. Way to rip off the fans, guys. THINK OF THE CHILDREN!!!! (who can't afford to pre-order games)!
