An Olympic effort on my part to type this.

Well, they got me.
The Olympics this year (2012) are insidiously broadcast all day. So they are constantly on TV at work and when I get home my flatmates also watch it.
I sort of didn't really want to see it... but even when I went out today, it was on TV in the foodcourt where I had lunch. NO ESCAPEEEE!
Hot North Korean wrestling guy won his match. Good one, bro. Oh, did you win? I was only really watching you pull your top off after the match was over...Wow so attractive... Asian men can be super fit too. Some of them I'm like, 'Sigh...'
Same for all the muscular swimmers and divers... find myself mesmerised by their muscular limbs!!!!
I'm going, 'Wow, he's hot. Oops that's a chick.'
Hard to tell... most of the athletic swimming gals have no boobs at all. I suppose one way to tell the difference is to see who is wearing the bodysuits. Gals wear full suits, guys wear... less. Seems to not make much diff really, the suits are sooo tight. Please stop zooming in on them so much, camera people.
I already have a bad body image from magazines and tv, I don't want these muscular people to make me feel fatter than I already do. Btw if I were a competitor, it would annoy me a bit how they zoom in so much, and then keep their camera trained on people's faces afterward, for a bit too long.
On the up side, I want to exercise more seeing them all work so hard, and I feel sorry for them when they don't get the results they want. I get cross when they cry too much after not getting gold though. It's like, 'You represent your whole country, you get to go compete internationally and do something many people will NEVER be able to do. You actually won a medal out of the however-many competitors, you were one of only three who actually got a medal, and you aren't happy. Try to be gracious please.' Excuse me also, girl who didn't get gold in the fencing... what the heck are you doing, holding everyone up and crying for like an hour. Way to represent your country. Awkward! I know it is like a body blow to come so far and then have your hopes dashed... but many other people got less and they managed to not hold everyone up and embarrass their countries by acting so badly. Grow up!
Ok so fave things so far: Rhythmic Gymnastics and Diving. Also ... yeah that's probably it. Hated Synchronised Swimming, gives me the CREEPS! Not sure why. Really not interested in track and field etc. If I could buy some of this stuff on dvd, yeah, def Rhythmic Gymnastics and Diving. They just have so much control! I can admire their grace also. It's fascinating.
Well as I said, I wanted to avoid it like I wanted to avoid the World Cup fever, but once again, it got me.
It's not so bad. But why is Table Tennis an Olympic sport?
