Darjeeling is actually nice, after all.
It is not too heavy, with almost plum-like undertones.
I was worried about trying it because if something is called 'the champagne of teas', you kinda worry that it won't live up to the hype.
Fears unfounded.
However I still prefer Assam overall.
But maybe Darjeeling in the morning, for a lighter, sharper, clearer drink; then Assam later on.
Assam is very full-bodied and rich, malty and kinda sweet.
So it can actually be a bit overpowering for me first thing.
I like Nilgiri generally.
Most greens are nice but I like Monkey Pick Oolong better, and GenMaiCha also.
Barley tea is nice too. Cold or hot. I first had it from a Korean friend.
Boricha (보리차), right?

Check it out.
I don't like Russian Caravan blends (black teas).
I dislike smokey or bitter teas, if they are too strong.
Anywayyyy enough about tea for today.
:)
Bye!
